Will using a RAID 0 msata array adapter in a single sata3 2.5'' bay give faster than 600Mbps speeds?

I have a lenovo x220. I am looking at buying a dual msata to sata adapter with raid capabilities to put in the 2.5'' drive bay. The msata drives i want to put in are 500Mbps read/write. Is there any point in doing this due to the sata3 bottleneck?

Thanks for the link. It seems according to that it is not much performance increase for normal desktop usage, only for very large queue depths. I might just get a 128gb 850evo normal style ssd.
