The BIOS is stored on the CMOS chip on the motherboard and uses power from the power supply or the backup battery on the board to retain it's settings.
You would need to reset the BIOS either by entering the BIOS at startup (typically hitting the Delete key on the keyboard), or by shorting out the CMOS reset jumper on the motherboard. The location of that is in the motherboard user manual, or on their official website.
