Hey guys,

I've been having a lot of blue screen issues lately. I've always thought it was a windows 7 problem coz having difficulties updating it etc, so bought a win10 pro and formatted the pc. Updated all my drivers (including bios) But the issue goes on. Last time I had the blue screen, the error was "irql_not_less_or_equal".

Here's the minidump file, hope someone can have a look and help me with it.

Thanks

I do not see anything in the memory dump that would indicate anything useful except maybe overheating.

BIOS looks up to date, CPU did not look overclocked.
There did not seem to be a motherboard sound driver installed (this would be ok if you have disabled the motherboard sound)

the debugger did not detect any corrupt windows files.

the debugger reported IP_MISALIGNED (instruction pointer is how the CPU knows what CPU instruction to execute next)

this could be a power problem to the CPU or a overheating problem or malware infecting something (maybe)

you should also run memtest86 to make sure your memory timings are ok.

Hey John,

Thanks for the reply. How long would you suggest me to run the memtest? Also is there a way to understand if the problem is a overheating problem or not?

Thanks
