Using z97-deluxe

My win 7 clock is wrong. I've just been syncing with an internet clock every hour for a couple months, not really all that bothersome, but it screws up many games, so I figured I'd get to the bottom of it.

I've also tried shutting off auto-sync and manually setting the time aswell as setting the time in BIOS while auto-sync is off. Do you guys have any ideas? Is there some clock battery on the motherboard that might be the cause?

Daylight savings time is correct aswell as timezone. Updating BIOS is something I've yet to explore. When I think about it, I can't format the 750 GB unallocated storage on my 3TB HDD. All the options are greyed out when right clicking in disk management.

Anyhow, this short guide seems not too hard. http://www.asus.com/microsite/2015/mb/5th_gen_Intel_CPU_ready/
Do I need to or should I unplug all other components than the required ones in this guide? Will I 'break' my other components if I fuck things up?
