hi, i moved the HDD to a older build...
now the OS wont load due to driver failure...
win 7
reinstall OS as fresh is not an option for me...

system reset after win loading screen, and ask for lunch repair mode, and that option didn't help ...
i tried using win 7 disk and use upgrade option, but it ask me to lunch the disk while i'm in windows (unlike win 10)

before choosing the install option , there is a repair options which act like the previous one and do nothing but showing an error (bad drivers)

i tried to enter safe mode by pressing f8 but since the motherboard is asus, it bring boot menu (dvd ,hdd )

any help to fix this is appreciated

Nope you’ve been told what your options are. Your option is wipe the drive and reinstall windows and that’s it nothing else can be done
2.like when i got to safe mode, for 1st time, i opened Device manager and i had like 15 yellow question marks... and a notification near windows watch that <new device found> ....
but system found them 1 by 1 and after like 2 min , there was no more Yellow Q.M...

you dont go to safe mode, fallow the link of the tutorial i gave you, you boot windows from a USB drive, and then go to recovery settings, and open CMD window, from there on just fallow tutorials instructions how to install the drivers from USB stick (wich you downloaded)

i guess its gonna be this one Driver version: 8.15.10.2697 Chipset download

Thats your mobo right? https://www.asrock.com/mb/Intel/P5B-DE/?cat=Download#Specification
1) no, not asrok
Asus-p5b ..... no prefixes nothing at end.... just p5b...

also i dont need to follow that guide, since i have access to safe mode and i can easily install things there. isnt that true?

2) any idea about that link i send? about those ways to uninstall drivers for device that no longer exist?

This should be your drivers for your mobo: Here

Try this easier method of uninstalling : Here

p.s: do u think my problem ganna fix after removing old drivers?

you never know, it should, i mean its running(trying to run) chipset for ur old mobo, so installing the correct one, should do the job

If for some reason it doesnt work, just install another copy of windows, on a diferent partition, and copy whatever you want from the old partition, gonna save yourself a lot of time

1)funny part is , Chipset for new (p5b) one is installed as well...

this way , i can uninstall Chipset as well? i'm not sure how many of them are there in device manager.... i mean its not one Question mark like Nvidia!
does this code, gray-out none present device?

2) i found another option
to use sysprep (not sure what that is) but if number one fails, can i do SYSPREP on safe mode?

3) how about image recovery disk ?

p.s: i want everything on old windows to be exactly same as it was before these changes

Solution
You still haven't detailed why. Any workaround has a more likely chance to succeed than what you want, the chances of which are somewhere near 0%.

i 'm proud to announce:
Finally!
problem solved :))
i made that work!!!

and about your question, i answered that at a post in page one.... its an office pc , not mine.
they do nothing with that pc
