[SOLVED] Win 7 Product Key for Win 10?

I have a new, never used Windows 7 Disk and Product Key.
I have a Windows 10 Pro disk which I made from the downloaded ISO. I used this disk successfully for a new computer, with a Win 10 Pro Product Key

Can I use my new Win 7 Pro Product Key for another new Win 10 Pro computer I plan to build?

Yes you should be able to. You don't enter it during the setup of 10. You enter it after the install is fully complete.

Has been working for a long time and last I know still was . Windows 7 or 8 keys.

You may be able to use the key depending on circumstances.

Thanks for the responses. My new Win 7 product key is with a never-used Win 7 Pro disk that I purchased a couple years ago from Newegg.

ANOTHER QUESTION -- I had a total failure of a Win 7 Pro system in 2017. It was most likely the motherboard, or possibly the i7 CPU.
After many tries to resurrect this system, I gave up and sold the DDR3 RAM while it still had some value.

Will the Win 7 Pro PRODUCT KEY from that failed system (I still have the bad motherboard/CPU) work on a new Win 10 Pro build?

Yes, I have.
And I also used a previously unused Win 8.1 license key in December 2018, to activate a brand new Win 10 install.
