I've seen some benchmarks that show Windows 10 has a SLIGHT performance boost compared to Windows 7. Windows 10 will undoubtedly...
DX12 like you said, UWP (Unified Windows Platform) games like Forza Horizon 3, Gears of War 4, Halo 5 being available to be played on Windows 10, UWP-based titles will also get a ''gaming mode'' for better performance soon.

DX12 is a hugely important feature so I'm not sure why you're not interested in DX12 somehow.

Microsoft seems to be doing their best to get everybody to switch from win 7 to 10. Besides the reasons listed above I would just get 10 because eventually microsft will likely force your hand. It would be a shame if you wasted money on win 7 just to be forced to upgrade to 10 in the future, for things like hardware and software support.

Gaming mode is for all games actually any title that uses full-screen/"Windowed" full-screen will run in "Gaming mode". We should soon see how this affects performance.

Besides that Windows 10 is coded to support newer CPU technologies along with being updated to fully support newer CPU's like Intel's CannonLake and AMD's Ryzen. Windows 10 also natively supports USB 3.0, NVMe, and other recent storage and peripheral technologies without needing additional drivers. This means if you want to run your gaming setup on say Samsung's 960 Pro SSD you won't need to have the NVMe Driver on a thumbdrive when you go to install windows.

Another issue is the question of how much longer are AMD and NVIDIA going to support Windows 7 with driver support. For gaming this will likely be the largest issue. A driver update for a newer game can either provide a large performance boost or keep you from staring at the desktop due to driver related game crashes.

It's not that I'm not interested in dx12..I just wanna know anything else is good in win10 over win7.. Bcuz all the games that support dx12 or play well at dx 12 I don't play ..So that illl wait 2-3 years to buy win 10 at much cheap price..Is there anything else in win10 for gaming

I've seen some benchmarks that show Windows 10 has a SLIGHT performance boost compared to Windows 7. Windows 10 will undoubtedly work better with newer games as Windows 7 is losing more and more support. Then again, Windows 7 is technically legacy, so you'll encounter less issues with older games. It depends on what games you are going to play. I prefer Windows 10, having upgraded from 7 to 8 and now to 10, I would argue that it is slightly superior- albeit 7 is a classic. I doubt either will let you down completely.

TLDR: Old games: Win 7, new games: Win 10
