I need help on a new build. I want to put the OS on a SSD, and use HDD to store the Data (Docs-Pictures Etc...) How can I I do that? Hardware: I7 4770K- ASUS Z87-PLUS - 16 Mb Crucial -120 Gb Kingston SSD - (2) 1 Tb Seagate HDD. Thanks for any help.

Solution
Only plug in the SSD and install the OS and your often used programs. Once you have them set up then you can install your HDD. Inside Windows right-click on each folder you would like to have stored on the HDD (documents, music, videos, downloads, etc...) and select properties. You can then change the location of each folder to point to the HDD instead of the SSD. There are multiple guides on how to do this online. There are also general SSD optimization guides out there. This guide is for Windows 7, but most of it is still relevant to Windows 8. The change for Windows 8 is that leaving disk de-fragmentation on works just fine because it trims the SSD...
