its always US only, if Toms is having a contest dont even bother checking if its available in your Country its always US only.

I would suggest checking out tweaktown its a better site, better content, more reviews, and their contests are not biased like toms are.

they really should open up these contests to canadian readers.. every time i see a contest i check to see, but i don't really have any hope left... making it U.S. only is alienating a huge portion of this site's viewers... every time i see a giveaway it makes me hate this site a little more... between that, the late news, extremely biased opinion articles passed off as news (Zak) , I'm really close to just giving up on Toms Hardware 🙁

Yup US Only (and Canada)

This would be great since Santa didn't bring me the upgrades I wanted.

I think I have been entering every single one of these since ~2008 and I haven't won a single thing. At this point I would be happy if I won a simple TH mousepad!!! A new GFX card would be awesome though. Need to replace my GTX 460's already...

On the official rules whats up with the taxes, surcharges, and filling a affidavit? Can some one fill me in on this? Thanks. (Sorry I'm new to this stuff.)

Why is the sweepstakes only open to US residents? I have been an avid reader of toms Hardware for many years & because I live in Australia I am not eligible that is Very Unfair.

It's because of international sweepstakes laws. The easiest countries for Tom's to expand the sweepstakes into would require that Tom's pay them considerable amounts of money and it only gets more difficult from there.

Legal requirements, US residents ONLY!
what a load of bullshit! this is the internet, get out of your cave!
