I was browsing internet today and lost connection. My ISP has a log in page where i have to put my user id and password. When i went to the page and tried to log in again it shows 502 bad gateway .On this pc i noticed Network locations is showing which usually does not appear. Under this it says win(win-pc) with windows media player logo on it.When i click on it it says win(win-pc) is denying access to your PC. Contact the owner of the media server to allow your pc to access it.

I went to control panel-network and sharing center-media streaming options-turn on media streaming -allow all in my network. Nothing happens so i turned it off again. Then i restart my pc and tried to log in again same 502 message. But this time i start chrome and can access internet. Now i click on the network and sharing it still says no internet and the win-pc thing is still there with same access denied message.

I formated my computer a month ago since then firefox always hangs when i open amazon but never when i do the other browsing. But today after i restart pc firefox hangs when i was just using google.

I don't know if i shut down i will probably loose connection altogether again . Is there any solution?

i am not sure 502 errors are your fault

The HyperText Transfer Protocol (HTTP) 502 Bad Gateway server error response code indicates that the server, while acting as a gateway or proxy, received an invalid response from the upstream server.

https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/HTTP/Status/502

Sounds like error coming from other end. I would check with ISP.

not sure about media player but this shows how to remove it from folder - https://superuser.com/questions/631399/disable-windows-media-player-media-server-network-locations
