Win10 does not give Mycloud a Letter, not found but accessed

WD support is wanting. I have a Mycloud 2GB connected to my wireless router. Win10 does not recognize it with a drive letter but can access the public files under network. I can not map the drive as win10 does not see it.

What error do you get when you try to map a drive to the network path of those public files?

when I try to map it .... it says no drive found. It once had a letter Z but when I would click on it ... win would say cannot access drive. so I deleated it and rebooted to see if it would be found on start up and since then it does not even show as a device but it does under network and media.

I connected the Mycloud drive directly to my pc via ethernet cable and it still was not found by windows
