when you do this windows reverts back to your local user settings instead of the old domain settings. try entering the administrator password you used beofre you set up the domain. that should work.

ignore everything i say

I had this problem when I first installed Win2k. Repairing the Install fixed the problem.

antivirus is right, Windows ask you to enter a local user name, try your local administrator account.

ok. the local admin account doesn't work. i guess the profile got deleted. before i re-install the damn os, is there nay way to get into my windows without a pasword.

reptilej, I believe you can't delete default accounts.
Anyway, onece any account deleted, you won't be able to re-craate it under the same name. That's why it's the way always to disable some account you don't need anymore, later to rename it just in case.

Try this software i never tried it Password Recover unless you have del that account might have to try to get in using another account name.

ok guys, you were right. i was unaware of a previous pasword to the ones i currently knew until yesterday. my boss walked right in and entered some name and pasword that i never knew of, apperently it was confidential. thankyou for your replies though.
