Win2k refresh rates in games

Alright, did clean install of win2k, got 6.5 win2k drivers from nvidia, got 4.29 via 4in1 drivers, got an acceptable driver for monitor. On desktop, my refresh rate is 100 at 1024/768 in games i can drop my res to 800/600 and refresh rate is still sub 60. Anyone know why and how I can fix it? Thanks

There is a utility that will let you adjust the refreshes for all modes of display for Nvidia cards under win2k. I just dont remember were i found it or were i saved it to. I know that OpenGL games will only run at 60Hz refresh till you adjust them. It has something to do with an inf file somewhere, when i get more info ill let ya know.

Give that refresh rate program a shot. I've been going under display properties, and locking the refresh rate at 100......
