Win7 laptop won't boot

I have a Dell Inspiron N5030 laptop. When I hit the button to power on, it shows the Dell logo, a half completed progress bar & F2 Setup/F12 Boot Option in the lower right corner. Then the screen goes black for 2 seconds & it's does the same thing again & continues this cycle endlessly until I power off. It won't load the drive, doesn't indicate an error (though there obviously is one) nor do I get the blue screen. Help.

What happens when you press f12?

i've tried both the F2 & F12 options, but nothing changes. it continues the cycle just as it did before.

Thats a boot drive failure

You might need to re install the OS
Or use start up repair if you created a recovery disk
