Hello.

A few weeks ago I uncovered a group of very old DVDs and CDs from my childhood. I thought it'd be a good idea to buy some flash storage devices and store them, to easily access them in the future, without having to plug each and every DVD and CD in to view the content.

I got all the CD's content into the flash devices fine, as they were .jpg, however the videos were from an old video camera (15 year old technology), and were in formats such as .VOD, .BUP, and .IFO.

I was wondering if anyone knew of any good reputable video converters for Windows 7 that could convert .VOD, .BUP, and .IFO into .wmv or .mov. I tried searching a few, but the small, unheard of websites and application developers makes me a little cautious for viruses and other such problems.

Thank you for reading, feel free to contribute.

My recommendation would be Format Factory, by Freetime. It's been a while since I last converted some videos with it, but I haven't yet seen a better software. If you install it, just be careful that it may install some unwanted stuff (not virus, but browser homepages, etc.) in your computer. Hope I've helped!
