Hi,

Newbie here about to pull my hair out. My pc started getting blue screens on Sunday while I was gaming without ever changing anything. Whocrash showed it was driver related. So, I reinstalled my video drivers, and that is when my screen would go black at the user login (after starting windows screen). After searching the web, I downloaded display driver uninstaller, and that somehow deleted my video card from device manager. Then, Win7 would not recognize my video card, even after reinstalling a fresh copy of windows 7. I have tried reinstalling the video card as well, but the only thing that shows is "standard vga card"
Even though my pc says it does not detect my card, I have my monitor plugged into my video card and getting a display.
I have tried downloading the drivers but I cannot install them since it doesnt recognize my video card. I can boot into safe mode without issues.
Thank you!
CPU = amd fx 6100
GPU = radeon r9 290 trixx oc
RAM = 8gbs
HDD= 500gb
PSU = 700w

Another thing is that I have my monitor plugged into my video card, and it works, but it's not detecting my card to install drivers. I put an old card in and it detected it. I don't know what to make of this. When my last video card died, it would display artifacts then not display anything.
