Win95 installation error after restart?

ello,
I have installed win95 B on to a computer with a 40GB hard dr
and a 64mb Grahpics card, 256MB memory and everytime I get to the end of
the install 100% it restarts and then the error Msg: while initializing
device IOS:windows protection error. IOS failed to initialize, please restart.
when I restart cannot restart in safe mode or any other mode. please help.

Does the motherboard support Windows 95? Many modern ones don't (not that it sounds modern).
