Scandisk will tell you if there are problems with the hard drive. Check to make sure there are no loose cable connections with hardware. Try running with minimum hardware, 1 cd-rom and floppy drive.

What are you doing before the computer freezes...what program is running? Have you changed anything recently, like added a new program or hardware?

Its hard to tell what the problem is without more details.

Heres my $.02

Have you considered that it may be your power supply since you have two CD-ROM's and ??? HDD's running in your system?

Try increasing the wattage of your power supply to match the number of devices you are running in your system. The higher the wattage the better chances of adding new devices without a decrease in performance. Just my $.02. Hope its helpful.
