No. Even still there are no new updates and Windows98 is holier then Swiss cheese. Bringing the OS up to its last current patch cycle would do no good.

Google "Windows 98 SP2" for a unofficial project to fix a lot of the issues with 98, including links to a patch that will add some XP software compatibility.
