Question Window resizing in Windows 10 very slow

Hello, i have problem with my computer and it start to drive me crazy. It started a couple a months ago and only now i am getting bothered by it.

The problem is when after i have used my computer for a while, my computer starts to act weird. Everytime i want to resize any window it lags and i cant figure it out why. And it also feels choppy and slow when i drag the windows and open them too. But everything is fine again after a reboot.

I reinstalled Windows 7-8 weeks ago when i got my new SSD.
And still this problem exist. So i know it has nothing to do with the harddrives or SSDs at least.

I have tried to reinstall my graphics driver with DDU and also tried very old drivers which go back to 2018 etc.
I have checked every driver so its up to date and done virus scans, also tried different monitors because i thought maybe it had something to do with that somehow. And it has nothing to do with different HZ ( i have 60hz monitors) and mouse rate etc, tried that also.

This is my hardware

CPU : i7 3770k
PSU : Corsair RM750X 750W v2
GPU : MSI GeForce GTX 1070 8GB Gaming X
RAM : G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 16gb
Motherboard : MSI Z77A-GD65 ATX


So what can i try next? or what can cause this problem? I dont think my hardware is so bad even if the motherboard,ram and cpu is kinda old. I can play new games fine and no stutter whatsoever its only when i use Windows application this happens.

I REALLY appreciate any help i can get ! <3

Can you please try Increasing the Pagefile Size Manually?

If it is already manually configured, setting it for automatic management could be the solution.

So if i understand this correct.. I have 16gb of memory ( 4gb x 4 sticks )

In the Initial size box i should put in 24576 and in the Maximum size 65536 ?


the numbers seems so high that i have to ask before i do anything

here is a picture of how to looks right now its in swedish but i think you understand anyway

Yes, that is correct.

Sorry for the late response.

Please try increasing the Pagefile size to the calculated figures and see if this resolves the issue.

hey again.

This did not work sadly, same issue :/

But i guess i can keep the settings, it wont hurt anything right? Feels like it should do more good than harm
