window xp pro to home edition

i have a window xp pro (without the CD,was a copy )and
want to install window xp home ,i have the CD
can i do that
please help

As in illegal copy of XP....Installing home is no problem,install xp cd,
then restart computer,boot to xp cd,then select install xp,new copy.

Hi,

A clean install to a formatted disk is the only option, there is no
downgrade here.

Boot the XP Home CD, enter setup and at the install point delete the
existing system partition. Create a new one, format and proceed with
installation.
