Window7 printing problems

My HP Lazer Jet 1020 printer is't working. I am receiving a print spooler service isn't working error. What do I do?

What OS are you using for the computer you're printing from?

assuming you are using windows 7 as this is a windows 7 section--go to control panel--if you have 8 icons then go to system and security then administrative tools--if you have view by large icons then all the icons will be visible--so go to administrative tools then services--set the print spool service to automatic-- double click it to get the options window up--if it shows its stopped then start it--may need to reboot to take effect
