windows 10 5.1 audio

so I finally managed to upgrade from 8.1 to 10. All seems well bar afew issues. My mean 1 being my surround sound. after the upgrade I can only use 2 channel audio, if I set my audio to 5.1 I get zero sound and if I press test I get an error "failed to play test tone". I know its early but this is a big pain to me. Is there any fix's

my audio is from my motherboard Z97 pro wifi ac and its hooked up to a sony amp over optical

Everything was working fine with 8.1 so its definitely win 10 to blame

Have seen elsewhere from microsoft devs it's a microsoft issue. Fix is in the approval queue and will hopefully be pushed out through system updates in the near future.

and still waiting for the update.
