[SOLVED] windows 10 64 bit (ASRock G31m-s ddr2 4gb)

Hi. I have an old setup ASRock G31m-s ddr2 4gb 667Mhz core 2 quad Q6600 2.4Ghz (64bit). Can I install windows 10 64bit? In ASRock G31m-s site the latest drivers are for windows 7 64bit OS. I will install an ssd disk and I would like to know if I can install windows 10 64 bit without problems. Thank you in advance!

Because the MB is old version, the win10 will provide the microsoft Basic driver for your MB.

And read this: https://forums.tomshardware.com/faq/how-to-do-a-clean-installation-of-windows-10.3170366/ You should be able to install the win10. If you have problem, post it back here.

I have installed Windows 10 on several Windows 7 computers that have few Windows 10 drivers available (usually only for a discrete GPU), and both are humming along with no missing drivers in the Device Manager. IOW, it shouldn't be a problem.
