Windows 10 activation

So I have a Asus X540LA laptop, and it has windows preinstalled. If I reinstall OS using USB (windows media creation tool) will key automatically activate or what?

Provided Windows 10 is currently activated & you reinstall the same version of the OS (Home, Pro etc), then yes - it'll activate once you're back online.
