[SOLVED] Windows 10 administrator password recovery

Hey everyone,

I'm locked out of my windows 10(version 1903) administrative account because I don't remember the password.
Is there any way for me to access my computer (reset the password or retrieve the data to put on an external disk) without deleting all the data?
I tried assigning the Ease of Access button to the command prompt. The button lost its function but the command prompt won't open so I believe this workaround got patched. I also tried doing the same process after disabling startup anti-malware software but this also didn't work.

Passwords are there for a reason. If there were an easy way around it, it wouldn;t be much good.

In any case, Tom's Hardware has a strict 'no touch' policy on passwords.
