Update worked fine the last couple of days. Now it's not.

I am running AMD radeon r9 200 series hdmi -> 4k TV Display

When I boot, the bios comes up visibly and fine, then the windows loading circle spins a bit and then the signal source is lost and I have not picture.

Unplugged hdmi from tv and sent it to my 1080 pc monitor. Worked fine at 1080 res.

So I plugged hdmi back into 4k tv and it worked briefly at that res. Opened "Radeon Settings" and the display blinked around and boom, no signal again. Plugged back into pc monitor, made sure display was 1080 and sent back to 4k tv again. Went to display settings and switched from 1080 res to 1440. It worked a second then blinked out and boom. No signal...and it wouldn't even revert back!!!

Not sure what the deal is here, but it is not making me happy.

Any suggestions??

So an update:

When I plug into my 1080 pc monitor, it works fine. So I can unplug the hdmi from the monitor and plug it into the tv and boom, I have a display signal and it works in 1080.

Then, if I go to display settings -> advanced display settings and hit detect...boom, I lose signal and can't get it back until I plug the hdmi back into the pc monitor. ??? I don't get it.
