Upgraded to 10 the other day. Now whenever I leave my pc for a lil bit and come back 3 apps are now open for no reason. The email app, the Xbox app, and the store app. Is there a reason for this? Can I stop it from happening?

Solution
I have DisplayFusion and installed their new beta that was suppose to fix it. It did not. I turned off the SuperFetch service while troubleshooting what was causing 100% disk usage. I noticed the apps were not opening. I kept SuperFetch off for 2 days and not once did the apps open on their own. This morning I turned SuperFetch back on since I found out it was not the culprit to the disk usage. The apps started to randomly open again. I turned SuperFetch off again an problem solved, the apps do not randomly open on their own. Hope this helps someone.

Could you recommend one? Im currently just using Windows Defender. I also have Malware Bytes and Super Anti SPyware to. ALso, Im the only one who uses my computer.

I've got the same problem. For me it's opening Mail, Movies, Store, Photos, and Calculator. They're not visible on the desktop, but I see them when I Alt-Tab.

UPDATE: It turns out it may be Display Fusion. Found this reddit post: https://www.reddit.com/r/Windows10/comments/3fivhh/windows_10_photo_and_store_apps_opening_by/. Looks like the beta version fixes the problem (http://www.displayfusion.com/Download/Beta/)
