Hi.

I have been trying to fight off my problem with my BSOD problems. For a long time my computer would crash usually once a week or so, which was fine. At least it wasn't annoying.
However the last week I've been getting an increased amount of BSOD's.

First my system specs:
Motherboard: MSI MPG X570 pro gaming
CPU: Ryzen 5 3600x
RAM: 32GB Corsair Vengeance LPX (2x16)
GPU: 2070 super
PSU: Corsair 1000watt
SSD: 1tb m2

What I tried so far:
Reinstalling drivers.
Memory testing
Using various command line tools to scan windows for errors.
Reformatting and doing a clean install of windows.
Updating BIOS
Resetting BIOS to default values, (Custom fan speed for chassis/XMP for RAM)

Nothing have helped. I usually get different kinds of BSOD bugchecks, but since I reformatted I only have a few dumps to share

Minidumps:
minidump

EDIT 8th may
New minidump 8th may

Thanks in advance for your help, if you need anything else let me know.

hmmm, i haven't seen that setting before. It might help

a lot of the problem with idle is how ryzen reacts to tasks. My 3600XT is almost always running at 140mhz until CPU needs to run a task, then it will boost it to as fast as it needs and rushes back to idle. its the constant up & down of cpu temps/speeds that can cause problems at idle

it was only during the update to 21H1 did I see CPU running any hotter than 50c, and maybe peaking up near 4ghz (I have two charts on my desktop that show CPU average clock speed and CPU temp, courtesy of HWINFO)

Previous dumps here.
I hope this isn't ones that I've already looked at.

I ran the dump files through the debugger and got the following information: https://jsfiddle.net/ps6qdwLj/show This link is for anyone wanting to help. You do not have to view it. It is safe to "run the fiddle" as the page asks.

Sorry im late...

Sure doesn't like the galaxy client

crash 3 shows Cloud Files Mini Filter Driver which is used by Onedrive... lan drivers again

crash 5 shows USB transactions, what USB devices do you have?

Yeah I noticied galaxy client as a problem too, and disabled it from starting up. Though it didn't fix anything, neither did disabling oneDrive.
USBs: Headset, Mouse, Keyboard and external hdd.
The computer crashes whether or not the external drive is connected or not.

And I think I found out something, though I still do crash, just not as often. And it appears to be a ram issue.
Disabled XMP and increased voltage to 1.35 volt, and the system is more stable. Funny enough, it passes memtest with XMP without increased voltage. Didn't bother to do a memtest for the new setting with disabled XMP and increased voltage. As its pretty obvious to me its a lot more stable.

blaming what crashed isn't the way to fix it, just reduces what you can use.

wait and see. Gardenman will be telling me I should have told you to remove xmp as it is an overclock, people just don't see it as one. ram is sold with the higher number on it most cases, so it makes sense to use it.

Just removing XMP didn't do anything though, it wasn't until I increased the voltage to 1.35v.

i would be tempted to get PC tested as it could be the PSU or something that is difficult to test. If they still can't find anything, we look at software but tis not really telling us anything

try asking on here, read their instructions for posting and see if they can find anything. Can link to here in post if you want - https://www.tenforums.com/bsod-crashes-debugging/
not giving up but I don't feel like I am getting anywhere. People over there might see something I can't. I can't post in the thread there as they prefer just the person asking question replies to post. Its less confusing

Let me know how you go, show me link so I can watch :)

If they can't help, we keep trying.

I live near a computer shop, don't know if he does repairs/hardware testing, but I could ask him since I know him and shop at him frequently.
Wouldn't PSU be weird, its less than 2 years old, it can take stress testing, it can take gaming without crashing?

Software issue would be weird as well, wouldn't it? It does it on a clean win10 install?

I will make the thread a bit later, and let you know about it when I have made it. Thanks for trying though, appreciate it :)

if it survives a clean install it often means hardware.

Its not showing any drivers, blame could be internet or Nvidia, it bounces around. It could be motherboard. But you can't test MB. only tests for MB is make sure everything else works, process of elimination OR put everything else on a known working mb and test that,

PSU - age seems to suggest it shouldn't be.

I wonder if tenforums will blame the CPU, they seem to every time I send someone there.
