Hello,

A few weeks ago I randomly started getting a message coming up every time I started my PC, stating to press any key to skip disk checking. I have been skipping it as my PC has been running fine so I thought nothing of it. Today I decided to investigate and stop being stupid, so I ran the disk checking and it said there was an error with C drive and it was repairing it. After saying it was repaired, it's still doing the same thing.

I also went into my file explorer, right clicked on C drive, went to properties and ran the error checking tool on the drive. It said there were errors and windows needed to restart to repair them. I've done this 4 times and it's still saying there are errors every time, not sure what to do.

Thanks in advance.

Solution
I would boot something like parted magic off the the ultimate boot cd and run the smart short and long tests on your drive before you let windows muck around with it just in case it is having hardware errors.
