According to Lenovo my ThinkStation E30 , in service since 2013, is not "approved" for the Windows 10 upgrade. E31s and above are BTW. Specifically , the Intel Rapid Storage driver for that particular model isn't available. I have a RAID 1 set on the box so when the upgrade runs it will crash on the Windows setup post reboot because it wont see the RAID set where it copied the files. Deep sigh

So I'm looking for a SATA III controller card (RAID preferred, ) that has Windows 10 drivers. Ive seen at least 40 devices in the usual places, so far...no Win 10 support. Any tips or suggestions would be appreciated.

This isn't a crisis yet...I will need to be on 10 by May 16

Since there is a wide variance in what goes into a machine that has a series there is a model number or an SKU. Is it possible for you to pass on your model number as this is very wide arching.

You can download CPU-Z and head down to the Mainboard tab and there you'll see chipset and/or southbridge. The C206 is stated to offer RAID and Intel RST support.
