Windows 10 keeps a few minutes after logging in with system thread not handled igdkmd64.sys. I don't have any Intel graphic drivers installed according to my device manager, just my gtx970. When I try to install them it gets about 65% done and crashes. I can't seem to boot in safe mode because when I do I just get a black screen. The only thing that's changed in the last month is I download the new nvidia drivers. And I've already tried rolling those back.

Can you follow option one here
and then do this step below: Small memory dumps - Have Windows Create a Small Memory Dump (Minidump) on BSOD

that creates a file in c windows/minidump
copy that file to documents
upload the copy from documents to a cloud server and share the link here and someone with right software to read them will help you fix it :)
So I ended up removing my you starting my pc then turning off reinstalling my gpu. And it gave me a blue recovery screen. I booted into safe mode and with worked this time. WAS finally able to downloaded some Intel graphics drivers. But now I can't boot up at all. I just get the recovery screen with error code: 0xc0000225

Hello again GhostRaptorr

Can you please try the suggestions given here? One guy in the given thread was able to resolve the issue by updating the BIOS. However, before you do that, please make sure to back up your current BIOS to avoid any future issues.

Please report back for any further assistance.

Cheers!! :)

How do I even update my bios and back up my bios? As of right now the now the only thing I can do is boot in safe mode. I have no option to roll back to previous build nothing. Theres not even a advanced options when I go to troubleshooting. And I can't even do a factory reset.

Hello again

If there's no option, you can boot Windows externally using any bootable media as explained in the tutorial I shared the link of in my previous reply. That way you can get all the repair options.

From Safe Mode, if not already done yet, you can remove the graphics driver you downloaded after which the PC didn't respond.

Cheers!!

I rolled the drivers back all the way to August but it still won't boot. I'll try the tutorial tomorrow.

MERGED QUESTION
Question from GhostRaptorr : "Will Only Boot In Safe Mood"

On another PC, download the Windows 10 media creation tool and use it to make a win 10 installer on USB - more useful as a boot disk than Win 7 is to you

why have you got an Intel graphics driver installed if you have a GTX 970? You should be using Nvidia drivers

In safe mode, can you go to file explorer, and in c:\windows, get it to show hidden files, and see how big the memory.dmp file is. If its several gb, don't do anything. If its only small, copy it to documents. Copy the version from documents to a USB and upload it to a file sharing site and share link here.

uninstall Intel gpu drivers in safe mode. Then restart PC and see if it works?

You can't install any drivers in safe mode, it won't work.

Okay I've been super busy lately and haven't been able to reply. I uninstalled the Intel drivers, and I was finally able to boot the OS. But I'm still getting the bsod with that system thread exception not handled. I've rolled the drivers back and still nothing. I did the sfc/scannow thing but the computer crashes at 4%. I think I'm going to try to completely remove all graphics drivers and start fresh
