Question Windows 10 Custom Built PC issues with Bluetooth Drivers after wakeup from sleep

I have had these issues constantly, I even reinstalled windows from scratch and the same issue is occuring...



Event Log:
The local Bluetooth adapter has failed in an undetermined manner and will not be used. The driver has been unloaded. (Code 17)

Reliability Monitor:
The error that is there is irrelevant and not related to bluetooth or USB

Bluetooth works, then I put my computer to sleep and then wake it up and every time the driver encounters this issue… the only fix (temporary) that works is to uninstall the driver then right click in device manager and do “scan for hardware changes”… if I run the Bluetooth troubleshooter it does pretty much the same thing but takes longer.



I tried rolling back the driver, moving it forward… updating windows... changing my local account from standard to admin and back again… Modified the sleep settings for the Bluetooth card, the PCI settings, etc with no success

Changed the Bluetooth Support Service to Automatic as well… and also tried the trick to do login via local account (which makes the issue worse, as it wont let me add/pair new Bluetooth devices in that state)…

Power management also didn’t fix anything

I often pair the computer with OnePlusBuds Z, Galaxy Buds Live, and an xbox controller

(the mac address i blocked was for the former device

Shows up a lot as well



Issue to me at least seems to be exclusively with the BT part (which uses the USB 3.0 header on the MOBO, the wifi works fine after sleep (that is connected via the PCIE part of the card)
