After struggling with Windows 10 demons for a couple of months I finally realized today that inmsinfo32, Windows is detecting my Broadcom Ethernet connection, and my Intel wireless connection both as Ethernet.
It does hook me up, but through the Ethernet icon rather than wireless. As a matter of fact, all references to wireless have been deleted as no wireless devices are detected.
Ergo,I cannot choose networks, and Microsoft apps do not detect me as being online. Windows updaten works, but I cannot verify my machine, change my location or any other app data.
Wondering if this can be fixed ... the only thing I haven't tried is going back to XP and working my way forward.
