windows 10 doesn't recognize creative elite pro?

Hey all, I've got a huge problem with my sound card. I am completely unable to detect it. It does not show up in the dxdiag, nor is it listed in the device manager (also no unknown devices listed).

Things I've tried:
-turning "on" Plug and Play in the BIOS : onboard card tune off
-installing drivers (drivers won't install when it cannot detect the hardware that it is for) it dos install
-checking connections/cords/cables right : done
-changing the PCI slot that the sound card was put in : done


I'm using Windows 10 64-bit with a ASUS P8P67 DELUXE version 2.0 or 2.1 , Intel Core (TM) i7-2600K CPU 3.40 GHz and 4 gigs of RAM.

Everything worked just fine before I reinstall instal windows because it messup my network driver.


Its a clean install of windows 10

Try going to the manufacturers website and manualy downloading and installing the driver for sound card you have.

i always go to the creative website to get the my drivers.

So thats not the problem.
