Windows 10 drive partition 1 is too small??

When i went to install windows 10 on my new pc, it downloaded fine and right when it got done with 'finishing up' , it said that windows 10 needed to restart the pc to continue. So it restarted my pc but then i had to do all of the steps before that over again and when i got to the where do you want to install windows screen, I said that the drive o partition 1 was to small and now i don't know what to do. I have a 1TB hard drive if that helps and any answers to this are appreciated.

when it was finishing up you should have removed USB and it wouldn't have gone through all the steps again. cancel out of install process, remove USB and restart PC and see what happens

You'll probably need to do a clean install. You can install Windows 10 in a partition with as little as 20 GB of free space. That's too small to be very practical, but when you have a 1 TB hard drive, I'm sure you have more free space than that.

Not sure what win 10 would have been seeing on a fresh install that was 20gb in size, but you probably right about needing to start again. I would follow this and it will show how to wipe hdd so its back to 1tb again: https://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/1950-windows-10-clean-install.html
