Question Windows 10 Feature Update 1903 Freezing

Hey everyone, having issues with my migration from Windows 7 to Windows 10. I'm trying to update my current Windows 10 installation from 1803/1805 to 1903. Not matter what method I use to install it, here's what happens. It downloads completely fine but runs into a problem when it actually tries installing. It seems fine until about 70%, then it slows down drastically until 84% and then the system completely stalls out and requires a hard boot. I have tried a fresh install AND even did the "reset your PC" option once. At a loss, what do you guys think is going on?

Using DDR3 system with an FX 8320 if that makes a difference.

Not sure what you mean by "I have tried a fresh install" The best solution is a clean install, including downloading the most recent version of windows (to install 1903, not update) and creating a install USB. https://forums.tomshardware.com/faq/how-to-do-a-clean-installation-of-windows-10.3170366/
