So I’ve been sat for about 15 hours straight trying to fix my god damm computer. It had a problem where Windows suddently didn’t want to start up properly, froze and was just being an asshole.

I ended up making a bootable USB using Media Creation Tool, booted up, used the CMD (Shift+F10) Cleared all my drives of shit, and reinstalled windows. From here it went uphill, windows was installed, and it said it had to restart my computer, after that it wouldnt load into windows, it will freeze on boot and eventually show «No signal» Earlier I was able to boot in safemode, whereas I would load into windows, which promted me to create an account which it wouldn’t let me do..

So I reset Windows back to factory settings after getting the «Defaultuser01» bug, got him out of the way, and now im back to the start.. Windows freezes, my monitor shows no signal, and I cant seem to be able to trigger an Automatic Repair so I cam access the Commandpromt. I’ve considered throwing the entire thing out the window, (Literally) But would like some help to see if this is fixable before I beat the shit out of it.

Thanks,
Carl.

umm.. This might be a silly reply, but if you have formatted your hard drive completely, have a try on installing Ubuntu 16/17/latest whichever is available to you. The thing we need to check is, if Ubuntu runs fine, then atleast we don't have any hardware issure related your PC. If another PC/Lappy is near you, create a Linux installation on A USB STICK OTHER THAN YOUR WINDOWS INSTALLATION USB & have a try & come back with what comes up.

Another thing to make sure is, that your windows installation setup isn't pirated. Have a check on that. Because many pirated media tends to delete the product key asking page which in turn might disturb the core windows files.

Nearly done installing Ubuntu now, god damn they've done some changes since I last used it!
Everything seems to be working alright thus far, will update as soon as it's done.

Great. If you get success in Ubuntu installation, then atleast you are away from any hardware issue(s). Just do another check, ensure your HDD is set to run in AHCI mode in BIOS. Sometimes IDE can cause boot up problems.

Ubuntu is running just fine, so no hardware issues, As for the ACHI mode, im unsure where to check that in Click Bios II. Kind of a shame that I have to move back to windows after coming back to linux after quite some time.. It's a shame that so few games are ported for linux.. Ohwell, drifing, drifting, drifting. Back to the point, no hardware issues as of right now, so definetly just my windows installations being retarded. I've bought a cheap W7 key, I'll see if that's working whenever I get it, if not, I guess I'll try "other" methods.

Well honestly, I've got a few off-topic ones. After years with Windows im getting extremly tired of it. (Don't we all?)
Is there another good looking OS like Ubuntu which has more games and such ported? Windows has it all. Surely there must be something out there that would be a perfect replacement..

How about Macintosh ? I case you feel its not legit to install it on your windows PC & you might loose your data in future (by some means XD), try Virtual Boxing the Mac. Be sure to upgrade your System's RAM before trying out. Best tutorial is here : https://techsviewer.com/how-to-install-mac-os-x-el-capitan-on-pc-on-virtualbox/
Tried & tested by me. :)

Never really liked the design or feel of MacOS tbh, but thanks for the help atleast x) Apparently I should no longer use Media Creation Tool to install windows 😛

If it's such a great tool, I've been doing something horribly wrong the past 17 hours... Been creating a bootable from a W10 Laptop I have lying around, which keeps screwing things up somehow.

My computer is doing just fine after I finally got a stable OS installed, just waiting for my windows 7 key to arrive, so I can try installing W7 and see if I have any luck, serming as W10 just keeps failing on me..
