I've been having problems with my pc (this is cmd booted from dvd). Everytime I boot pc for first time that day it just freezes on desktop. Then I reboot and it works. So far, two times it required few hard restarts (through reset buttom). But today, it freezed on boot (it shows windows sign and then it freezed). First thing I thought off is chkdsk. It shows that C: and D: are healthy. SFC /SCANNOW doesnt show any integrity violations. Then I tried to run chkdsk on a: (drive I recently installed (I couldnt find SATA cable so I connected it to some cable as CD/DVD drive, it started after installing it). I typed chkdsk /r a: it responded "cannot find specified drive". Then I executed command to show all drives and A: was nowhere to be found. What should I do?
And can I replace the drive mark (if needed without losing data)?

Unless you fresh installed windows your self, this sounds like the classic case of a clone gone wrong. If you have a vendor that "fixes" your PC for you, then they most likely cloned the OS to your hard drive, if that's the case, then it explains your issue. Reinstall windows 10 fresh, your self, and your freezing issue will be history.
