Windows 10 Games Runing slow

My specs are
I5 6600k
Asus gtx 970 turbo
8gb ddr4 ram
Asus z170 pro gaming

If anybody can help please let me know im gettinf around 6 to 12 fps in assisn's creed 4 and syndicate i tried sniper elite 3 same results and tried on lowest settings on 720p maximum goes upto 15 fps idk whats the problem.

Please do try doing a clean install of the graphics card driver.
- Go to Device Manager and uninstall the Nvidia graphics card driver.
- Next is to open Programs and Features then uninstall anything related to Nvidia.
- Once done, download and install the latest driver.
- Here's the link: nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx
- Reboot the laptop once the latest driver has been installed.
- After the reboot do set Nvidia as the default GPU.

this didn't work man and driver kept installing itself and for the dafult settings my nvidia control panel is different thn that

and my output is from graphic card im using hdmi but the port from motherboard is disabled

i hope its not physical damage

are you running the insider build or the public release? the insider build does not like the controllers right now and does exactly this when one is plugged in.

take a look at the task manager and see if wdm.exe is using crazy cpu and ram. this is a known problem when controllers are attached for the insider build.

if you are on the public release then you should still check task manager and see what is running high usage to help determine what the issue is.
