Windows 10 high memory usage at idle/startup

as seen on the picture my ram is usually between 6 and 8 gb when the computer has booted. I don't know what causes this but it's been doing this for weeks.
cpu: i7 4770k
gpu: asus 1060 3gb
ram: corsair 1866mhz ddr3

I see what you mean. I am running a 32bit machine using 57% of 4GB memory with several applications running eg Firefo, Steam and background applications. Have you checked what runs at Startup?
