Hey guys,
Recently, after updating windows 10 (not upgrade to), i found out that my audio in games are sort of distorted. Everything else is fine like watching youtube videos, listening to my itunes library, watching movies etc. To elaborate on the problem, the BGM in games are okay, voices sounded okay too, but sound effects like hitting monsters or the ground sound distorted. Certain parts of the sound effects are also choppy at times.
For example: in Dark Souls 3, weapon attacks, footsteps and chugging an estus produce no sound. Although sometimes it does but would sound choppy. Attacking with a UGS or GA doesn't produce the metal clanking it usually does. Weirdly enough, opening the menu does have that sound effect.
I've tried several fixes i found on google but nothing helps.
Hope some of you can help me with this.
Cheers.
