two days ago when i booted up my pc i got the system repair loop and i can't even wipe everything and do a fresh restart, my friend came over to see if he could notice any problems and he told me that it isnt recognizing windows on my hard drive and i dont know what to do to fix it.

Do a clean install of windows 10. You can download the media creation tool from their website which will allow you to download the latest ISO and load it to a Bootable flash drive. Make sure you have a flash drive of atleast 6 gigs. You then need to boot from the flash drive to install Windows on your hard drive. Go into your boot settings in the BIOS to change the boot order. Then follow the instructions to install Windows.

so i am not able to reinstall from the windows cd???

Hi

The advantage of downloading a new iso from Microsoft is that it will be the lattest 2016 version, saving you the upgrade from 2015 version(s)

You can download and put iso on usb or dvd using the ms media creation tool

If you have a win 10 dvd have you tried booting from this dvd and seeing if it can repair the corrupted windows start up
.

Hi, try booting from a Windows 10 media (bootable USB or DVD).

Then select repair your PC.

I also suggest that you backup your data first (it could also be that the hard drive is failing).

it still goes back into the corrupted windows start up.

whenever i select repair your PC it doesn't do anything
