Windows 10 install on new build, DVD or USB?

So my new build is coming to a close with only 2 parts left in delivery. Before I commence, how do you recommend installing windows 10 64bit, via DVD or USB? only asking because I heard some trouble with USB installations.

Finally before installing windows 10 on ASUS VIII MOBO, should I update the BIOS?

Installing from USB is faster and easier way (and doesn't require optical drive, witch basically has no other use).
Update BIOS only if it addresses some hardware/software issue you're having.

Can I make a bootable USB from the contents of a DVD?

I'm considering going this route because the cost of Windows 10 Pro on DVD from a third-party vendor is far cheaper than the download from the Microsoft Store.

I can buy the disc from elara.ie for €176.85, which seems excellent value to me. I wonder if I can buy the license for that from Microsoft after the ISO download?

Just download iso from microsoft and use rufus to create usb install media.

Making iso from DVD involves extra step. You will need 3rd party software to do that.
