Hello

So im building a pc for my brother and he picked this case.

https://pcpartpicker.com/product/ms6BD3/nzxt-case-cas340wb1

Just before buying the parts i noticed theres no option for an optical drive.
Problem is that a windows 10 usb cost €50 more than a cd version.
Now my (newbie) question is:
Is it possible to buy a digital key and download that to an usb?
Or to maybe plug in and optical drive to the motherboard and keep it outside the case just for the windows installation?
or are there any other options wich im overlooking?

Any advice is welcome as i dont have alot of experience with installing operating system via USB.

Thanks in advance.

Buy a valid license. You do not have to buy the USB with it.
Create your own USB...

Create your own USB install here: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10
Install, and use the license you purchased.
