well are ther any vids out there to understand what im doing better or perhaps somewhere where someone could walk me through it
I watched one tutorial before I changed mine, thinking it was going to be more complicated than it really was. I purchased a fully modular power supply, so it was really easy. All you have to really do, is remember where all the cables where which you unplugged from your original power supply. If you want, you could theoretically take photos of these.

I only had to remove 3 cables from my computer.

1-the main motherboard connector - the 24 pin power cable plugged into the motherboard
2 - the CPU cable - located on the motherboard close to the CPU
3 - One sata cable

You will probably also have at minimum a cable for your GPU, but I didn't.

So basically, probably just watch one or two PSU changing videos, ideally based on your motherboard, then just give it a shot. As long as you take photos or even just remember which cables you removed and from where, you should be good to go. It's not as difficult as it first seems.
