Hi everyone,

trying to install Win10 32x on an older FCS Amilo Xi 2550 over the current Vista via a boot USB and running into an issue.

Issue: During the installation, the install wizard does not see any available disks. When I enter cmd via the Advance settings, and type "diskpart" and then "list disk", it shows only the boot USB.
When logged in via Vistas, both my HDDs are visible, working and accessible via the cmd.

Any ideas?
Thanks for help, trying to fix it for my sister cause the school switched to online learning because fo Covid-19.

i found a video which showed installing win 7 on the SCSI hdd and thought, surely the hdd in laptop isn't scsi.

According to this its sata - https://icecat.biz/en/p/fujitsu/ccn-ger-110121-010/amilo-notebooks-amilo+xi+2550-1496383.html

so that was a relief.

I wonder if win 10 doesn't have the drivers needed to run the drives.

processor is from 2008 so its not that old... https://ark.intel.com/content/www/u...ssor-t8300-3m-cache-2-40-ghz-800-mhz-fsb.html

you got windows 10 to boot as far as the drive selection screen so makes it seem it should work from there.

Are the drives set up as RAID in bios? Not your model but similar story -...
