windows 10 installation loop

I have assembled my new pc, everything went well. I tried to boot windows 10with the official USB, but after installing w10 the pc restarts and i have to install it again. It's a loop.
Setup:
Intel Core i7 7700k
Asus Maximus 8 ranger
Samsung 850 evo 500g
Gigabyte 1080ti
hyperx 2133mhz 16g

when it gets to screen asking for a restart, remove the USB and then restart and it won't go around in circles.

Or dont press a key everytime it restarts. Otherwise it'll start from the beginning. Let it continue

how far into install did you get? did you set up username?

what happens when you start PC without USB in drive?

if you set up user and password you can try two things

1. Safe mode: sometimes logging into here might make the install continue

boot from installer, on 2nd screen after languages, choose repair this pc, not install
choose troubleshoot
choose advanced
choose start up options
hit the restart button
choose a safe mode (it doesn't matter which) by using number associated with it.
Pc will restart and load safe mode

2. Another fix might be start up repair

boot from installer
on screen after languages, choose repair this pc, not install.
choose troubleshoot
choose advanced
choose start up repair - this will scan PC and maybe fix this - will ask for logon info

I'm having the same problem.

If I reboot without usb in it goes to bios.

It is after the very first install when it says finishing up and then does it's first reboot so no username made yet so safe mode is not an option.

Installer seems to be getting worse. What you need to do is when it gets to the page below, and says its about to restart PC, remove the USB and let it restart, it should continue the install from there. IT has already copied the files it needs to hdd by then.

if that doesn't work, make new thread as this one is old and few will look in it.

As I wrote in my very first sentence.... If I remove the use during the countdown it just reboots BIOS and refuses to recognize that it has just had windows installed.

I guess i'll make a new thread.
