Question Yellow DRAM light on, PC won't boot

CPU: 12700k
GPU: 2060 Super (Removed)
MOBO: MSI B760 Tomahawk w/WIFI
Storage: Samsung 990 NVMe 2 TB
RAM:

Kingston Fury Beast 64GB (2x32GB) 6000MT/s DDR5 CL30

PSU: Thermaltake 850W Gold

I have an issue with my computer build not posting. I briefly see the red CPU light on before it turns off, then the yellow DRAM light comes on and nothing else happens. The CPU and case fans never turn on

I've tried different configurations of the RAM (single, double, 2/4, 1/3, 2, 1) with no differences.
I took the MOBO outside of the case in case it was a standoff short
I reset the CMOS jumper (I wasn't able to remove the battery without being scared of breaking it cause I'm dumb)
I took out the RAM entirely and tried booting with the same exact result (red CPU briefly then a yellow DRAM)

I'm at my wits end about what this could be. My two theories are that the RAM is too fast for the supported MOBO speed (6000 MHz on the RAM vs 4800 for the processor) and that the CMOS shorting the CMOS memory didn't fix it, or that I have a bad MOBO/RAM.

Thanks for any help in advance.

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!

Rams should be populating slots A2 and B2. If using one stick of ram, use slot A2. Did you try reseating the processor ?Speaking of processor's how are you cooling said processor?

Sadly the board doesn't have a BIOS Flash button on the board and it's possible your BIOS is corrupted though you're not going to revive the board without a CH341A BIOS programmer toolkit...assuming it is indeed the BIOS that's the culprit.

I'm at my wits end about what this could be.
If the ram and processor works on another known working motherboard, then you should RMA the motherboard.

I'm using a Noctua NH-DL12L air cooler. I have not tried reseating the processor yet. I think I have a DDR4 system I can test the processor on, but not a DDR5 one handy.

I'll try reseating the CPU and see if that works.

The processor boots on a separate MOBO with different RAM. I'm pretty sure it's either the RAM or MOBO that's messed up at this point. It's also possible that the PSU fried one or both of them.
