Windows 10 Installing problem

Hello and thank you in advance for your help .

To detaliate the problem , i bought an new Laptop Assus X540S Type C , it came with ENDLESS OS , i wanted to instal an windows 10 Pro with OEM license .
I installed it and in 2h it died .... after restarting the laptop it took 20 minutes to load the windows and start Google chrome .... no errors just loading time .

Decided to reinstall Windows 10 , but now i can't , when trying to install an Windows 10 Pro created with Media Creation Tool , it asks me for some drivers , i tried to install intel rapid storage drivers , i couldn't find any.. .
After trying several versions of windows and ubuntu , linux mint .. i get the same type of errors regarding my HDD .. it can't be partitioned, failed when trying to create partitions and so on..

Anyone has any idea how to prepare the HDD with command prompt to be ready for an Windows 10 install ? Or any software like Memtest so i can test my HDD ?

memtest is for ram not a hdd

Can you delete all the partitions in windows setup then?

You can test any make of hard drive with SeaTools for DOS on a bootable CD. The download page below includes instructions for creating the CD:

I know memtest is for ram not hdd , i was asking if there's any software like memtest but to test de HDD .

I tried in windows 10 to delete all the partitions and create an new single one.. so in ubuntu and linux... they can't create new partition.. or can't install to the new partition ...
After finaly managing to create the partition in windows 10 , it stucks to 0% in the next steps and give's me an error code that's related to the HDD as well.

If you've still got the ISO use Rufus. The tool can screw things up if you use it to put the install files on a flash drive

If it's got a UEFI BIOS select GPT partition in Rufus, before you add the ISO. If it doesnt select MBR partition

I'l test it with SeaTools right away , meanwhile i tried an install to offer an Error Code , i got the following error : We couldn't create a new partition.[Error: 0x80004005].

You are rebooting then booting from the flash drive right?? Not trying to install it in Windows?

Yes , Rebooting than bootin from USB.

I burned Seatools for Dos with Rufus , managed to boot into it but it can't see my HDD , my HDD is Toshiba could that be the problem?

Possible. I meant use Rufus for the ISO to make another bootable flash drive. See if that works

If DOS diagnostic software can't see the drive (as long as it's not connected to a USB port), then in all probability the drive is dead.

It's an HDD and it's conected into my laptop , the laptop is a month old , and i can see it in my bios , it apears working and with model number and everything...

I retried to install got the following error at the second step 6% : windows cannot install required files make sure all files for installation are available error code 0x8007045D

Only thing I can think of then. The BIOS doesnt support windows. You cant put anything else on it besides the OS that was on it

But i had... I had windows 8 and windows 10 on it for about a week.... they were very slow and that's why i was trying to find an OS more stable... And ENDLESS that came with the laptop is an linux based OS , so why can't i install Linux ?this is driving me crazy...

Try connecting the hdd thats in it to a desktop then delete the partitions / do a quick format. Then see if you can get windows on it

I would do that.. but the darn thing is in a warranty... if i dont manage to do it i'l ship it one of this days... i still think something is wrong with the hdd but i dont know what.. or how to format this thing... i dont know what's wrong with it ...

Well you've killed the OS that was on it. That probably killed it anyway lol

Yes most likely the OS that was on it it's dead , do you mean it's posible for the HDD to be dead also because of that ?
